Kid-Key-Lock's purpose is to lock specific keyboard keys and key combinations as well as specific mouse functions. Kid-Key-Lock can be used to prevent accidental presses of combinations such as Alt-F4, Alt-Tab, the "Start" key, the right mouse click, double click, etc. It is ideal to be used with toddlers and young children when one wants to let them play with his/her computer (e.g., play a specific game, paint, or watch a movie) but does not want them to mess around with the operating system and other programs. |
