GSMComm is a communication library for use with GSM mobile phones, mainly for performing SMS-related tasks. The library basically features the possibility to send, read, delete, store, import and export SMS messages. Also special messages can be created and sent, such as alerts, concatenated text messages or operator logo messages. Phonebook management can also be done. Another feature of GSMComm is to notify the application about new incoming messages or route new incoming messages directly to the application. The developer gets additonal support by using the built-in debug trace to troubleshoot communication errors with individual phones. Not that if the phone does not support a particular feature, you can't also use it with GSMComm. The GSMComm download includes the binaries (.NET assemblies), reference documentation in XML and CHM (HTML Help) formats as well as source code samples. |
